Common Borrower Card

Your Nesmith Library card is a "Common Borrower Card" and is valid at any of the above libraries.  It must be presented to borrow items.

A valid card is one that has not expired, has no charges for lost materials, and has minimal fines.

Loan periods, fines, and borrowing restrictions vary by library. Contact the library for specific information before you visit.

Fines and charges for lost items will be accepted at the discretion of each library.

Checks for lost items must be made payable to the library that owns the lost material.

Materials may be returned at any member library.

No renewals are allowed on materials that have hold requests on them.

Interlibrary Loans and items such as Museum Passes and electronic devices, are only available at your home library.

Children’s programs, and some adult programs, which require registration, are only available at your home library.

The Rodgers Memorial Library in Hudson has joined GMILCS, Inc., as of April 2022! The most recent library to join the consortium, the Nesmith Library in Windham, did so in 2011. The Rodgers Memorial Library serves a community of 25,394 in southern New Hampshire, bordering Nashua and the Merrimack River to the west, Litchfield to the north, and the Massachusetts border to the south. Linda Pilla, director of the Rodgers Memorial Library is looking forward to increasing the number of borrowable items from RML’s local collection of 45,000 to the consortium's shareable collection of 1.4 million titles, bringing free access to the cloudLibrary digital collection, and giving RML card holders the opportunity to visit any of the GMILCS member libraries to check out or return materials. According to Director Pilla, “to say we are excited about these added benefits for Rodgers patrons is an understatement!”
