Toddler Time is a drop-in program featuring books, songs, and movement activities to help develop your child’s language and socialization skills. Toddler Time is open to Nesmith Library patrons. Toddler Time lasts approximately 20-25 minutes with 30 minutes following the session for parent/child social interaction and play. Parents are encouraged to participate with their child, and are asked to limit personal conversations until the 30 minute social period. The more you engage in Toddler Time with your child, the more attentive he/she will be. Siblings are welcome to attend the toddler session; however, siblings cannot be left unattended in the library while a parent is in Toddler Time.
Toddler Time meets on Monday mornings at 9:30 am and 10:30 am, and a single session on Fridays at 9:30 am. The same content will be featured during each of the week's three sessions. Please check our Event Calendar for weeks which do not feature Toddler Time, and during the winter season, check for weather related closures on our homepage, Event Calendar, and Facebook.
