The Friends of the Library of Windham (F.L.O.W.) is pleased to announce that it will be awarding four distinct scholarships for a total amount of $8,000; two are for high school seniors working toward a 4 year degree at a college or university, one is for a high school senior going to a community college or trade school, and the final scholarship is for a non-traditional student returning to school after a gap of 5 or more years.
The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a group of teen volunteers in Grades 7-12 who help make the Nesmith Library a welcoming space for their peers. TAG meetings and projects count as community service hours and there will be snacks at each meeting. We will meet the first Tuesday of each month.
Thank you Coco, Early, and Associates Windham for the pizza and the $25 dollar gift card!
