There are three ways to participate in our 2020 Summer Reading Program:
Head of Youth Services Azra made dog treats using a library cookbook and shared the recipes, and her dog Odin's reaction to the treats! Visit our Facebook page to see the full Live video from 4/28/2020.
The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a group of teen volunteers in Grades 7-12 who help make the Nesmith Library a welcoming space for their peers. TAG meetings and projects count as community service hours and there will be snacks at each meeting. We will meet the first Tuesday of each month.
Thank you Coco, Early, and Associates Windham for the pizza and the $25 dollar gift card!

What Is the Flume Award?
Teens had many choices of open-ended projects to experiment with at our Maker Fair. Simple circuits with LED lights, knitting, duct tape crafts, recycled paper crafts, button-making and folded book art were some of the available projects. It was inspiring to see the teens put their own creative spin on the provided materials.
Here are some of the creative uses that teens came up with for the colorful duct tape they had at their disposal.
