Beginner Knitting for Teens @ the Nesmith Library

Ages 12 and Up

Our spelling bee is registered with Scripps and classified as a “school wide” local competition; the champion speller from this competition will advance to the state championships in Concord, NH on February 25, 2017. Upon registration, you will receive access to study materials provided by Scripps. The bee will be hosted by the Hoosksett Public library this year.

If you like anime/manga or comix this is the club for you. Watch anime, discuss your favorites, and share news with members. Learn about Asian cultures and how manga and anime started. Open to teens 13 and up.

Looking for something fun to do over the school vacation? Come join us for fun, food, drinks and good reading. The Nesmith Library is sponsoring a teen Read-a-Thon to benefit the Shepherd’s Pantry on Friday, December 30th. Teens age 12-19 can drop in anytime between 12 and 4pm for a bite to eat and spend some time reading to raise money for charity. Read books, magazines, e-books, comics—anything you want! Just READ!! Stay for a half hour or the entire 4 hours. It’s up to you.
