A Christmas Carol with Hampstead Stage Company

No registration necessary. For All Ages.

The Hampstead Stage Company will visit the Nesmith Library, Wednesday, December 18 at 6 PM to perform Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol. It is the delightful tale of the miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, and his clerk, Bob Cratchit. Through visits from the spirits of the season, Scrooge learns the true meaning of Christmas. In this charming tale, we hope to educate students about the class system of Victorian England and encourage them to help others that are less fortunate.

Homeschool Bookmaking Program

On Monday, November 18 from 1-3 PM, Peter Morse from the Essex Art Center will lead a bookmaking workshop for homeschool students ages 10 and up.  In this first workshop, students will learn two basic bookmaking techniques and leave the workshop with both a pamphlet sewn book and a Japanese stab stitch book.
