Nesmith Library welcomes you to join us on Wednesday, March 29 at 6 PM, when we'll be using our Creativebug digital resource to create a hand-stitched project—a sweet stuffed chick! The egg-shaped chicks are a cinch to stitch and stuff with just a few rows of sewing. Expert instructor and designer, Kata Golda, will take us through the project step-by-step on the big screen as we follow along to the class video from Creativebug. If you would like to learn more about Creativebug, access is included with your library card, so you can try it out yourself! Visit or contact us at Nesmith Library if you would like help logging into Creativebug and exploring a wide variety of classes, crafts, and inspiration! To view and access all of our digital resources, visit our Catalog Esources page.
We'll be making one chick, but with the skills you learn, you'll be able to whip up a batch at home and display them in an egg carton for whimsical spring décor. All supplies will be provided to make one chick. Nesmith Library card holders ages 18 & up only, and registration is required. All materials will be provided, and space is limited, so register early! Please let us know if you cannot attend after registering so we can invite someone from the waitlist. Thank you!
