Registration Required (see below) / Activities designed for Children Ages 6-11
To register for this event, please use the form at the bottom of this page. Fill out the form once for the whole family, and list your children's names and ages on the appropriate line so that we are sure to have enough supplies! If the form has disappeared, that means this event is full. Thank you.
Have you ever wanted to join Jack and Annie on their magical adventures in the Magic Tree House book series, or wanted to travel to different times and places in history? Together at Nesmith Library, we may not have our own magical tree house, but we sure do have the creativity to make up for it!
Please register children ages 6-11, and then join us on Monday, January 30 at 6 PM, for another warm-weather-themed meeting of the Magic Tree House Explorers at Nesmith Library! Young explorers don't have to have read the Magic Tree House books to participate, but we do highly recommend the series. This exploration will take us to the plains of Africa, a place filled with wonderful creatures. We'll take our inspiration from bees and craft with flowerpots. Caregivers are welcome to join in or not, but must remain in the library while children are participating in the event.
