Registration Required (see below) / Caregivers with Children Ages 6-11
To register for this program, please use the form at the bottom of this page. Fill out the form once for the whole family, and list your children's names and ages on the appropriate line. If the form disappears, it means that registration is full: please contact the Children's Room to join the waitlist.
Children are invited to Make A Cat Toy for Shelter Pets at Nesmith Library, on Thursday January 12 at 6 PM! We will enjoy some snacks together and craft some cat toys to donate to a local animal shelter. This program requires registration and is for children ages 6-11. Younger siblings are welcome to register as well, but will likely need a caregiver's help to do the craft. Caregivers must remain in the library while children are participating in the event.
If the weather tries to interfere with our fun, we may package up the supplies as a takeaway for you to pick up instead. Please consider following us on Facebook and Instagram for updates as the event approaches! Thank you.
If you would like to support a local animal shelter, the Greater Derry Humane Society is always in need of the following:
- Cat litter
- Cardboard scratchers
- Cat food, any variety
- Amazon wishlist
