This is an in person program taking place at Nesmith Library.
Registration Required (see below) / For Incoming Ninth Grade WHS Students
Every summer, Windham High School assigns books that students must read for the upcoming school year. To help incoming ninth grade students with your summer reading assignment, Nesmith Library will be hosting a book discussion on Wednesday, August 17 at 4 PM, focused on Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. We'll talk about important themes and provide support for constructing your report, but we will also have fun while we do it. Take advantage of this great opportunity to get help preparing for the return to school! Please register using the form on this page so we know how many students are attending. Thank you!
Please visit the WHS Summer Reading website for the full details of your Summer Reading assignment. If you read a different book for your assignment, please check one of our other Freshman Book Group events:
- Scythe by Neal Shusterman, Tuesday, August 16, 6:30 PM
- I Must Betray You by Ruta Sepetys, Tuesday, August 23, 6:30 PM
- A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi, Wednesday, August 24, 4 PM
Please email Teen Services Librarian Molly at email@example.com with any questions!
