This is an in person event taking place at Nesmith Library.
No registration necessary / Children Ages 0-12, with Caregiver
We hope to "sea" children of all ages at Nesmith Library for Marine Animals: Whales & Seals interactive presentation with the UNH Marine Docents, on Thursday, July 28 at 10:30 AM. We will learn about how marine mammals stay warm, how big they are, and how they eat, exploring these topics with hands-on activities such as blubber gloves, feeding frenzy, and measuring a whale!
The UNH Marine Docent Program is a volunteer-based effort that presents educational programs which provide a link between the University's research community and the public, run jointly by NH Sea Grant and UNH Cooperative Extension. Public library programs are part of the Check Out UNH program, made possible by a generous gift from a donor to UNH.
