NEW DATE! RESCHEDULED FROM JUNE 9!
This is an in person program taking place at Foster's Pond Trail in Windham. Attendees must provide their own transportation and arrive before 8 AM so we can begin our walk promptly.
Registration Required / Adults Ages 16 & Up
Please use the form on this page to register, once per person who will attend the program. This program was rescheduled from May 12, and then again from June 9. If you had registered previously, we have kept you registered for this program. Please contact Maria if you will not be able to attend: firstname.lastname@example.org
Join Nesmith Library on Thursday, June 23 at 8 AM when Steve Hale from Open World Explorers guides us on a 2-hour birdwalk at the Foster's Pond Trail in Windham! We'll meet at the parking lot at the Nashua Road Courts and start our walk promptly at 8 AM, rain or shine. Since we'll be looking for birds in their natural habitat, quiet is a must, so this is an adults-only program, and you do not have to stay for the entire walk. Dress appropriately for the weather, and don't forget your binoculars and bird guides!
Steve Hale of Open World Explorers holds university degrees in marine biology, evolutionary biology, and ecology. He has lived in New Hampshire over 20 years and has explored most of the state. An avid hiker, birder, and experienced naturalist, Steve loves to share his experience and knowledge with others eager to learn. In April 2016, Steve formed Open World Explorers to more fully share his knowledge and experiences in ecology, ornithology, and Earth science, and to help others find personal value in the natural history and landscape of the area.
Please refrain from attending if you are experiencing symptoms of sickness, including cough, cold, and flu: thank you for helping us to continue providing our full services as safely as possible.
