[PICKUP] Lego Challenge: Create A Book!

This is a program with a takeaway for pickup. Register, then visit Nesmith Library starting on Wednesday, April 20 to pick up your Lego book base, then return the base and your Lego creation by Wednesday, April 27 for voting. Return to pick up your family's Legos after 4/27.

Registration Required (Use the form at the bottom of this page, please only register once per family) / Children Ages 6-11

Nesmith Library Youth Services invites you to participate in a Lego Challenge: Create A Book! Families who have registered can pick up your blank book made of Legos on Wednesday, April 20 and will have one week to create a Lego scene based on a book of your own choosing, by building with your own Legos on top of the blank book base. Children ages 6-11 must use your own Legos to build on top of the provided book base, have minimal adult help designing your creation, and include the title of the book you are representing somewhere in your display. Families with multiple children ages 6-11 can work as a team, please do not register twice.

Registration is limited and the finished product  must be returned to Nesmith Library before Wednesday, April 27, so that the books can be on display during our Legos with Eric the (Spring) Elf program during April Vacation Week. During that program, patrons will be invited to vote on their favorite creation! Afterward, families can return to pick up their own Legos.
