LIBRARY CLOSED: Nesmith Library Closed to the Public

As of July 8, As a result of contact tracing, an employee's family member has tested postive for Covid 19. As a precaution, the library was closed from Thursday, July 9th through July 12 to deep clean. Curbside service was suspended. The book drop was closed through July 12. As of June 12,  The Governor’s Economic Reopening Task Force announced guidelines for reopening libraries in NH. At this time, we will be continuing Curbside Borrowing only. The library building will remain closed. Visit our Updates page and our Phased Reopening page for more details.

As of 3/27/2020, our temporary closure has been extended through May 4, 2020. This is in compliance with guidance from the State of New Hampshire and Town of Windham officials. Visit our Updates page for more details and up to date news about the library and other updates in Windham.

As of 3/16/2020: After consultation with the town Emergency Management Committee, the Board of Selectmen, and the Nesmith Library trustees, we have decided to close the Nesmith Library to the public from March 17 until April 6, 2020 at which time we will reassess the situation.
