Nesmith Library

Windham, New Hampshire

Letter to the Public from Library Director Sylvie Brikiatis 3/16/2020

After consultation with the town Emergency Management Committee, the Board of Selectmen, and the Nesmith Library trustees, we have decided to close the Nesmith Library to the public from March 17 until April 6, 2020 at which time we will reassess the situation. We are making this very difficult decision based on the recommendations of town, state and federal health departments.
When available, the staff will answer questions via email at info@nesmithlibrary.org and through messages to our Facebook page. We are currently maintaining our online collections at home and will be staffing the building sporadically.

Please note that since this letter was created on 3/16/2020, we have had to change more library procedures than noted in this summary. Please visit our Updates page for the most up to date information. Please visit our Health Resources page for recommended sources of information about COVID-19.
