Interested in What Trustees of the Library Do?

 Be a Nesmith Library Trustee!

Join us to make a difference.

Are you a Windham resident?  Are you interested in positively impacting the operations of the Nesmith Library?  Do you have skills and assets you feel would benefit the library (especially skills regarding finances, advocacy and policy creation)?

If you answered “yes” to two or more of these questions, please contact our Library Director, Sylvie Brikiatis, for more information on the role of a library trustee. If you are then interested in running, please file for an open seat at Town Hall during the candidate filing period (January 25-February 3, 2023).

Being a trustee is a great way to gain insight into how a library is run and to learn more about our budget process.  We will have two trustee positions up for election this March and are hoping to have interest in both positions.

For more information contact Sylvie Brikiatis, Library Director at director@nesmithlibrary.org or contact any of our current board members, and see bylaws and meeting minutes at: www.nesmithlibrary.org/trustees

For additional information, as well as Town of Windham and school district positions, contact Town Clerk Nicole Bottai at 603-434-5075.
