The Children's Museum of New Hampshire Presents: Under a Starry Sky: Nocturnal Animals

Join us as the New Hampshire Children's Museum leads us on a fun-filled exploration into the star-lit world of nocturnal animals. Learn how these animals have adapted to survive in their nighttime environment, under a starry sky. A museum educator will lead participants in a fascinating, hands-on, and startlingly science-filled presentation all about these critters of the night. Participants will travel through interactive stations where they can investigate animal tracks, animal constellations, explore hands-on nature experiments, and more!

Wild About Turtles!

Mary Doane will be here with live turtles! See and compare a box turtle, a red-eared slider, and a Russian tortoise live and up close! Ages 5 and up, and registration is required. Registration opens on June 27th for this program.

New Hampshire Astronomical Society Skywatch - RESCHEDULED!

Due to forecasted cloud cover, we will be holding this event on our rain date, Thursday, August 8th at 7:30pm!

Join us as the New Hampshire Astronomical Society brings the secrets of the night sky to us! We will begin inside with a short program on the stars and then we'll move outside to observe the night sky. You may want to bring bug spray and a folding chair.
