Stuffie Sleepover

Registration Required  / All Ages, with Caregiver

Join us for a special storytime! Patrons that are elementary age and below are welcome to join us for stories, singing, and a sweet treat. Don’t forget to wear your pjs and bring your favorite stuffy! Stuffies will “sleepover” at the library and patrons are welcome to pick them up the next day and see what they were up at the library the night before. Please plan to stay with your child during the program.

Hogwarts

Registration Required / Ages: 7-11 Years

Professor Pevna requests your presence in Potions class where she will teach you how to bottle fame, brew glory and … Well, not actually those things, but Hogwarts has come to Nesmith! Each month we will be ‘brewing’ different potions in the form of STEAM and art activities. Please call the library at (603) 432-7154 or visit the library to register.

Reading Buddies

Registration Required / Age: 6-10 Years

Join Macs the reading dog in a comfortable setting to practice your literacy skills with our favorite library furfriend! Registration is required for a 15 minute time slot during the program time. Macs is a registered reading dog through New England Pet Partners. Please call the library at (603) 432-7154 or visit the library to register for your time slot. Thank you!

Family Storytime

No registration necessary / All Ages, with Caregiver

Join us for an all ages storytime! We will sing, dance, read, and do a special craft that you take home with you. This is a drop in storytime, so no registration is required. We ask that all children be accompanied by an adult caregiver during the program. 

Busy Bees Baby Storytime

No registration necessary / Age: 0-18 Months, with Caregiver

We’re introducing a whole new storytime just for your little ones! This will be a special baby lapsit for ages 0-18 months with a caregiver. The program is designed to help teach and promote early literacy skills for caregivers and children. We will sing songs, read and play! We also hope to give caregivers a chance to meet other caregivers in their community.

Preschool Storytime - First Fall Session

Registration Required / Age: 3-5 Years

Come join Ms. Molly for storytime! We will sing songs, dance, read and do crafts! This is an independent storytime for ages 3-5. We ask that children are only signed up for one storytime date each week during the first fall session (September 17-October 17)  to ensure every child gets to participate. Registration starts September 9: please visit this page for more information!

Toddler Time

No registration necessary / Age: 18 months-3 Years, with Caregiver

Join us for toddler time with Miss Chris!  We will read stories, sing, and dance.  This program is for toddlers ages 18 months to 3 years accompanied by an adult caregiver. Toddler Time lasts approximately 20-25 minutes with time following the session for play and parent/child social interaction.
