Local author Frank L. Grzyb is a decorated Army combat veteran. He was awarded a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Army Commendation Medal along with several service medals and campaign ribbons.

Do you love to cook? Do you have a prize-worthy healthy recipe? Drop by the library to pick up an official contest form, and be entered to win great prizes. You do not need to bring in any food, just an original written recipe. Recipes will be judged on originality and creativity. Fun for all ages!

Classic and not so classic lawn games. Come enjoy an afternoon of outdoor games including cornhole, croquet, bocci and some you’ve never heard of. All ages welcome!
End of Summer Reading Program Party
Come and celebrate the end of our 2016 Summer Reading Program. Steve Blunt and Friends Band will be our featured entertainment! Grand prize raffles will be drawn for all reading levels. Weather permitting, this event will be held outside on library grounds. After the performance, everyone is invited to make ice cream sundaes. No registration is required. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Windham. We hope to see you there!

Intro to Guitar Workshop
Daniel Saunders returns for a fun morning of beginning guitar instruction, including jazz, classical, rock, pop, and more. Families are encouraged to participate together. Bring your own guitar, or jam with Daniel’s guitars. It’s sure to be a good time! For ages 8 and up. Registration preferred. Event is free and open to the public. Please call 432-7154 to sign up.
