Touch-A-Truck Day

Windham Town Departments and local vendors cooperated to bring special excitement to the childen (and adults!) of Windham!

Town Maintenance trucks were some of the most popular!

These little ones show how enormous the vehicles are!

The Windham Fire Department was out on a call ....

...but came as soon as they could.

The Ambulance and Fire Truck were two of the most popular vehicles,

with some of Windham's Finest on hand to explain their features.

A police car was fascinating, too!

Nesmith Library Director Carl Heidenblad's

motorcycle had many admirers.

This 1929 Ford interested adults as well as children!

It belongs to and was restored by

Windham's former Town Maintenance Director, Al Barlow.

Some commercial vendors were kind enough to bring interesting vehicles as well.

Linahan Limousine coined the phrase for this event :

"Great adventure begins with Reading..."

Luxurious interior!

There were cold treats and popcorn for all.

Here, Library Assistant Mike Miloro mans the popcorn machine.

A fascinating vehicle for children

who have not yet been inside a school bus!

A huge THANK YOU to a great group of Teens for their help setting up,

and working throughout the morning to assure that everyone had a

memorable and fun time!

A beautiful day and great fun for all!
