A lonely Mary Lennox arrives on the Yorkshire  moors,

and is met by the stern Mrs. Medlock.

who knows about the Secret Garden.

...who can charm animals (here we meet the bunny, the crow and the fox) and talk with birds.

Mary brings 'round her spoiled invalid cousin, Colin,

and introduces him to the wonders of the garden.

...and Mary's uncle decides he should embrace life again.
