For children of all ages!
Read for the fun of it and receive raffle tickets for great prizes!
The more you read, the more chances you have to win! To register for any of the summer programs, simply stop by or call the library at 432-7154. Please note that registration for a program begins two weeks PRIOR to the program date.

June 24th Summer Reading Program Registration and Kick-Off Party
Drop in anytime between 1:00-3:00pm
Stop by for five minutes or an hour as you register for the Summer Reading Program, grab a snack, and make a craft. Registrants that day will receive two special entries for separate raffles to win a Kendall Pond Pizza certificate or two tickets to Story Land! A special guest, sponsored by F.L.O.W. , will be creating balloon sculptures. If you cannot make it to the library on June 24th, please note that registration will continue throughout the summer. Register for the Summer Reading Program at the Nesmith Library and learn more about the fun programs planned for the summer and the fantastic prizes. No registration required.
If you are 13 years of age or older, and would like to help out in the Children’s Room this summer, come to the meeting on Tuesday, June 29th and learn more. We could use your help and it’s a great way to earn volunteer hours!

Tuesdays ~ Drop-In Crafts
Join us July 6th, 13th 20th, & 27th
between 1:00-3:00pm to create one of our fun summer crafts. These crafts are recommended for children ages 4 and up - accompanied by an adult or guardian. Crafts available while supplies last.

Beginning July 7th, our SRP Mascot will be on display in the Children’s Room. Each week throughout the summer, watch for a new photo to be posted in the children’s room. Correctly identify the location of the mascot in Windham and receive a raffle ticket to win the SRP Mascot and other prizes.

Cruise into the library for a one of a kind presentation. This
comic book artist invites kids to try their hand at cartoon art
and demonstrates how anyone can learn to draw and create comics.

The whole family is invited to an outdoor party celebrating a summer of reading! Don’t miss this amazing summer celebration and entertaining show held outside on the library grounds. Grand prize raffle winners will be drawn for tickets to Canobie Lake Park and StoryLand. After the performance, ice cream sundaes will be provided by F.L.O.W., the Friends of the Library of Windham.
