A Jeantastic Event for Teens!
The NH Traveling Pants are coming to town!!!
In honor of the popular series “The Sisterhood of the
Traveling Pants” by Ann Brashares, a special pair of pants are coming to the
Nesmith Library. In the series, the pants travel wherever the four best friends venture. These Traveling Pants are traveling to libraries around NH gathering memories as they go.
This unique event will take place on
Tuesday, June 5th from 5-7pm
Activities will include:
- Decorating the NH Traveling Pants and a scrapbook page
- Decorating a pair of jeans to display in the YA Area
- A “Trash or Treasure" clothing swap
(If you would like to participate in this portion of the program, please bring in at least 2 items of clothing -anything you don’t wear/don’t like/doesn’t fit - to swap with participating teens)
- Pizza, cake, and ice-cream
- And, of course, fabulous PRIZE GIVEAWAYS!!!
