The Teen Summer Reading Program is for young adults ages 12 - 16
Young adults ages 12-18 are welcome to join us for programs -
which are, of course, free!
"Rules"
~Read “books" (which include Books, Magazines, Comic Books, Graphic Novels, and Books on CD/Tape)
~Write a brief review (forms are in the Young Adult area or at the front desk. Be descriptive (but don’t worry, it can be as little as 3 lines!).
~Turn in your reviews for BOOK BUCKS!
~Use Book Bucks to purchase prizes from the “store” (the display case in the front of the library) throughout the summer.
"Tips"
~Read items that are at your reading level (reviews of children's materials will not qualify for book bucks)
~Include your name and phone #, as the review forms will serve as your raffle tickets for big prizes* later in the summer.
~You can also earn “Book Bucks” by attending any of the TEEN PROGRAMS offered this summer.
